Rare Reef by Afnan is a great tropical-style fragrance. I’m a fragrance collector with over 200 bottles, and this one stands out as a well done fresh scent. Right off the spray, it has a bright citrus opening that reminds me of juicy tropical oranges with a smooth, slightly sweet vibe. Refreshing, and easy to wear without being overpowering.Longevity is very good I can still smell it hours later without needing to reapply. It works especially well in warm weather and casual settings, but it’s versatile enough for everyday use. Overall, this is a solid fragrance that performs better than expected, especially for the price.

this is similar/a dupe of LV pacific chill but not the same as it, very zesty like a citrus peel and soupy smelling, this will work great as a casual fragrance or a gym fragrance, lasts pretty long but may need several sprays to make a head turn, good price and packaging

Unique twist on Louis Vuitton's Pacific Chill fragrance but much more long lasting. 6-10 sprays lasts me 6-8 hours and 10 hours on skin.

Easily lasts 8 hours or more on skin and fabric depending on sprays. Great scent and actually restored a little bit of faith in buying frags on Amazon. Usually frags seem very diluted. (No proof? I definitely recommend if you like freshies!

smells so good. its energetic, fresh, bright up top, kind of sour but nothing tart like Versace pour homme.its one of my 40 bottles of colognes that my wife says smells good. it is really good. i sprayed it on my hand around 8:00 at night, woke up around 9:30am the next morning and could still smell it on my hand. it projects very well, last a long time, i think it will be a banger in the summerI'm going to order another bottle or two.

People, especially females tend to like this sent profile. My wife certainly likes it. It has a very fresh, clean citrus sent profile that project really well. I get around 6 to 8 hours longevity. It has a noticable strong citrus opening but dries dires down into creamy almost unexplainable sent that is really nice.

The packaging and bottle are really nice — it looks and feels high quality. The scent itself is pleasant and clean, great for everyday wear. However, it doesn’t project very strongly and the sillage is pretty light, so it doesn’t last as long as I’d like.That said, it works really well for layering with other colognes, and at this price, it’s still a solid pickup if you like softer, more subtle fragrances.

There must be quite the batch inconsistencies. My experience was a clean ozone/leather smell up front, then all I can smell through the middle is powder. Maybe it's my nose or my skin, but I'm getting no leather, raspberry or smoky vetiver through the middle. I can't pick up anything fruity, smoky or floral at all. Just powder from what I assume is sandalwood. I like certain varieties of sandalwood, but not the overly powdery stuff. Maybe I just dislike it so much that, that's all I can smell. It's a pleasant fragrance, that I can already tell is going to have great projection, sillage and longevity. It's unisex, and I have no problems rocking a floral or fruity scent, but to me powdery frags are very feminine leaning..imo of course. It's very concentrated. A great value, and fine addition to your rotation for sure. Maybe I'll enjoy the finish more than the middle, and will update. The opening was very nice, and I'm hoping for a revealing dry down. I wasn't expecting the powdery middle, though. Overall, a great price, on a luxe smelling fragrance that many people will undoubtedly love. It punches way above it's weight.

I bought Afnan Rare Carbon after I bought Afnan Rare Reef for my husband and we both loved it. Well, HOLY SMOKES, it’s SMOKEY!!! It hits different! It has lots of notes, but all I get is smoked out Oud! It’s like we had a bonfire w/ cedarwood and it was wet, so it smoked us out. I love the smell when I’m camping, but not in the house or car, especially on a hot day like today. This is a great cool to cold weather fragrance, best suited for fall & winter. Hubby loves it, but he don’t have sense enough to understand it’s a cool to cold weather fragrance, not a summer fragrance, so I may have to hide it haha. It’s VERY masculine, very woody, 100% Smokey, not sweet at all, and FULL ON BEAST-MODE NO Holds BARRED! So, if you like Smokey and Oud fragrances, you will love this! I had to take a star away because it’s too BEAST-MODE and to the point of nausea for others who are in small confined places w/ someone wearing it. So be cognizant of that fact. It’s literally a 1-spray Eau De Parfum! It came in yesterday, Hubby put it on at 3am as he left for work, it’s 6pm right now and he smells like he just put it on. I told him to get in the shower because I can’t handle it anymore. The entire house smelled like Rare Carbon all day & wouldn’t let up, & he made it stronger by coming home and walking all around after work. That’s 15 hrs! I’m sure Rare Carbon would last for 24-48-72 hrs on skin and esp on clothing! So, like I said, if you love UBER BEAST-MODE WOOD (OUD) fragrances, this is perfect for you! Just be kind to everyone’s olfactory fatigue possibilities, & maybe your own when wearing it. 😊.
